Bye Bye Farm Fresh


I was really bummed when I heard that Farm Fresh, one of my local grocery stores is going out of business next month. It's not that I shop there all that often, in fact I tend to divide my time between Harris Teeter, Walmart, and Food Lion. It's mainly that Farm Fresh had brought some healthy competition to my area. In fact, my Harris Teeter has tripled coupons consistently ever since Farm Fresh opened (obviously to be a direct competitor). The result has been that we've snagged some of the best deals ever! Competition drove down prices and increased the incentives which were really, really helpful in these crazy times. So needless to say I am bummed about the passing of our dear friend Farm Fresh.
Well, on a lighter note, the store is going to have to get rid of all those groceries at some point. I'll keep you posted when I hear of any amazing liquidations!

Oh Farm Fresh How I Love Thee

I have really been enjoying the triple coupon sale at Farm Fresh this last week, how about you? I have found the store employees to be very friendly and much more supportive of couponers than at Harris Teeter. Ladies, I think we have single-handedly recruited more couponers to the ranks as so many of the cashiers are now believers!

Sadly, as I checked out tonight, the cashier told me that tonight was the last day of the triple coupon sale. I am sad to see it go. It has really been awesome to get much of what we need at some fabulous deals.

I will say that I have noticed that Farm Fresh's prices are much lower than other stores. So, certainly for quick shopping, I'll be heading over there. I would do more of my shopping there if they would double coupons on a normal basis. I have enjoyed seeing many of you in the grocery stores. Please keep us all posted on the good deals you continue to find around town & in general. We're in this together!

Farm Fresh Deals this week (7/30/08)

Many of you have written in about your Farm Fresh deals this week. So, indeed we find that they are tripling coupons without much problem in the Wilson, NC store. Internet printables are going through fine as well. They have a limit of 25 coupons per trip and (2) of the same kind of coupon.

Olay coupon & more great triple coupons news for local readers!

Sara found a printable $5 coupon, yippie. I'm pretty sure there is an Olay deal coming up soon so print away!

I found an offer for a $5 coupon at olaydefinityoffer.com.
You fill out the quick survey and address info and they will send you a $5 coupon


Also, good news for local readers. It seems as though Farm Fresh is now tripling coupons. Good golly Miss Molly! I went by to check for myself. It looks like they are tripling up to 25 coupons per day, up to two like coupons per order, and up to $1.00!!! I'm not sure yet if they are accepting internet printables. Anyone know? This should make for some pretty incredible shopping since Harris Teeter only triples up to $0.99 and who has a coupon for $0.99?
