Don't eat peanut butter!
I opened up my email to read this FDA warning posted last night regarding a samonella outbreak. Officials are advising that you do not eat peanut butter or any product with this in it. So, if you are planing on going to Walgreens this week, you might choose the Ragu deal over the Skippy peanut butter one.

OK, you need to READ the whole article before you post - if you'd read down you'd have seen this:
"Jars appear safe
Most peanut butter sold in jars at supermarkets appears to be safe, said Stephen Sundlof, head of the Food and Drug Administration’s food safety center."
Blogs like these can do a lot of damage spreading false information, please post a correction! We love your blog and trust that you are telling us the truth!
Thanks for your comment. I did read the article and just after the quote you wrote it says:
Most peanut butter sold in jars at supermarkets appears to be safe, said Stephen Sundlof, head of the Food and Drug Administration’s food safety center.
"We urge consumers to postpone eating any products that may contain peanut butter until additional information becomes available," Sundlof told reporters in a conference call. "As of now, there is no indication that the major national name-brand jars of peanut butter sold in retails stores are linked to the recall."
The post still stands. I know that many of you are busy adults & on occassions we miss FDA warnings like this one. I'll always post the source so you can check it out for yourselves. Hope that helps.
